DELIVERY PROCESS

On collection, the driver signs the waybill.

On handover, a unique waybill number is assigned to the parcel.

These details are logged into the track and trace system via a handheld palm pilot.

At the hub, these details are transferred to a thermal label which is attached to the parcel.

Scanning the parcel - when it arrives or leaves - allows our control room staff to track it.

Smaller parcels are sealed in unique, tamper-proof envelopes.

These envelopes - along with larger parcels - are placed in sealed, secure containers.

Container is logged with the airline and a pre-alert notification is sent to the receiving branch.

The receiving branch collects the parcel from the airport and logs it into the hub.

Warehousing - RAM Hand-to-Hand Couriers™ Cargo, Parcel Storage Services

Certain services on behalf of clients may require warehousing. RAM has now purchased an additional warehouse adjacent to RAM’s Isando Hub. We provide world class Pick and Pack facilities on the premises, specially designed for items with a higher price tag per piece.

RAM CARD DIVISION

In order to enhance the RAM Card Division’s operational and security procedures, RAM took the decision in early 2005 to open a dedicated Card hub. The RAM Card Hub is a specialised facility which, inter alia, provides services to Financial Institutions for their Financial Products. The RAM Card Division is geared to comply with all FICA related documentation and information.
Such Services include the following fully integrated and seamless Services –

  • Risk Management and Administration Services
  • Call Centre Services
  • Card Envelope Assembly
  • Courier And Logistical Services
  • Customer Relationship
  • Collection, Collation, Verification and Validation of FICA/KYC Documentation

The RAM Card Hub –

  • has a standalone fully operational and integrated call centre. All inbound and outbound calls are digitally recorded;
  • utilises state of the art software, designed specifically for the Services specified in 1.4 to Financial Institutions for their Financial Products; and
  • was especially established to address and resolve the demanding requirements and specific challenges around the Face-to-Face delivery of Credit Cards and other Financial Products.

All Couriers allocated to RAM Card are fully trained in the collection and verification of FICA / KYC documentation.
A specialised Quality Assurance team within RAM Card serves to further verify and validate all incoming documentation prior to imaging and return to the Financial Institution.
RAM Card Division’s management were specifically employed having regard to their knowledge and expertise in the Card Delivery industry.
RAM utilises a state of the art imaging system specifically to facilitate Financial Institution requirements in relation to electronic storage of FICA/KYC documentation.

RAM CARD MANAGER

RAM has invested in a software program entitled RAM Card Manager Ver.1.1.06 (“RCM”).
RCM is a state of the art ASP.NET2 / SQL2005 software application for complete “Financial Institution Card Customer Relationship Management”.
RCM is designed for small to large call centers which provide the Services to Financial Institutions for their Financial Products.
The RCM Software applies to Financial Institution campaigns to solicit and retain Customers utilizing both –

  • inbound campaigns which are linked to e-mail or sms; and
  • outbound campaigns linked to predictive dialing software.

RAM is of the opinion that RCM leads the way in Financial Institution Call Centre and Logistics Software as it has the ability to download data directly onto the RAM courier network enabling the efficient delivery of the Financial Products to the relevant Financial Institution’s Client.
